One man's eye

The project aims at bringing together a number of contributors from different walks of life to discuss a specially chosen work with a view of recording personal responses. These texts, in which the works will not necessarily be discussed using art criticism or historical evaluation, primarily aim at recording significant encounters with a particular work. Alongside these texts a number of art critics and art historians will also be invited to write on key works that have in their opinion come to hold a particular place in 20th painting.
